It has been a busy week for car manufacturers, with a bevy of recalls on popular models leaving many to wonder if their vehicles are affected.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a part of the U.S. Department of Transportation, provides consumers with an online tool to check if their vehicles are among those recalled. Here is the latest on the recalls announced in the past seven days by major car makers.
Toyota and fuel systems
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing is recalling certain 2018 Camry, 2019 Lexus NX300, and 2019 RX350L vehicles. The low-pressure fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.
Dealers will replace the fuel pump assembly free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sunday, March 9. Owners may contact Toyota’s customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota’s numbers for this recall are 25TA01 and 25LA01.
There are currently 858 potentially affected units.

Recalls for Ford continue
Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2021-2023 Bronco Sport and 2022-2023 Maverick vehicles. The 12-volt battery may experience degradation and suddenly fail.
Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the 12-volt battery free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Monday, Feb. 3. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford’s number for this recall is 25S02. Vehicles in this recall were previously repaired under 24V-267 and will need to have the new remedy completed.
There are 272,817 units affected.
Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2021-2024 Bronco vehicles. The rear shock absorbers may corrode and fail, resulting in detachment of the external reservoir.
The remedy is currently under development. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed Monday, Feb. 3. A second notice will be sent once the remedy is available. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford’s number for this recall is 25S01.
There are 149,449 units impacted.
KIA and electrical systems
Kia is recalling certain 2023-2025 Niro EV, Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), and Hybrid vehicles. The floor wiring assembly beneath the front passenger seat may become damaged, which can prevent the front airbags and seat belts from deploying properly or cause an unintended side curtain airbag deployment.
Dealers will inspect, replace and reroute the floor wiring assembly, as necessary, free of charge. In addition, dealers will install wiring covers. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Friday, March 14. Owners may contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542. Kia’s number for this recall is SC332.

Jaguar Land Rover cameras
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2023 Discovery Sport, 2023-2024 Defender, and 2023 Range Rover Evoque vehicles. The touchscreen in the center console may go blank at vehicle startup, resulting in the rearview camera image not displaying as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, “Rear Visibility.”
Dealers will update the touchscreen software free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Friday, March 14. Owners may contact Land Rover’s customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover’s number for this recall is N972.
There are 28,370 units affected.
Chrysler and airbags
Chrysler is recalling certain 2016-2019 Ram 3500, Ram 1500, 2016-2020 Ram 2500, and 2016 Ram 3500 Cab Chassis vehicles. Due to a manufacturing defect, the right and left side curtain airbag inflators may rupture.
Dealers will replace one or both side curtain airbags, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Thursday, Feb. 13. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA’s numbers for this recall are 05C, 09C, and 10C.
