Get ready to laugh until it hurts with one of Canada’s hottest comedy talents this winter as part of the 63rd annual Bon Soo Winter Carnival.
Drew Behm – a viral sensation and Just For Laughs standout – is headlining Comedy Night on Feb. 19 at the Northern Superior Tap Room.
“Being from Alberta, I embrace the cold,” Behm said.
“I’m excited to visit a northern Ontario town that celebrates winter like I do. And as an Oilers fan, it’s pretty cool that Gretzky played junior hockey here!”
Opening for Behm is Jesse Ralph, a Newmarket comedian with roots in the Soo and credits including Just For Laughs Toronto.
“My dad grew up in Sault Ste. Marie and played in the Bon Soo hockey tournament,” Ralph said.
“I’ve never performed here before, but I do have a few jokes about my grandpa who still lives in town.”
Tickets are $20 and will be on sale closer to the festival. Bon soo button or tag will also be required and will be sold at the door if needed.
Doors open at 7 p.m.
Seating is first-come, first-served.
